Edna Jordan

Edna Jordan joined the NESC secretariat in April 2010 having previously worked in the National Centre for Partnership and Performance for over eight years. During this time she managed a range of projects and collaborative initiatives involving public and private sector organisations. These initiatives were aimed at promoting workplace partnership and employee involvement as enablers of organisational change, development and innovation. Prior to this she was a senior official at the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation (INTO), with responsibility for the design and delivery of its National Professional Development and Training programme for primary teachers. More recently, Edna worked in the Department of the Taoiseach from March 2012 to October 2017 and was responsible for developing and implementing the Department’s HR Strategy and implementation of change management initiatives arising from the Civil Service reform programme.

Edna holds an MBS in Change Management and Organisational Studies and is a qualified Business and Executive Coach.   She is particularly interested in change management, leadership development, organisational learning and facilitating individuals to achieve their potential.
