Noel Cahill
Noel Cahill is an economist in the NESC Secretariat. His research has covered Irish economic development and a wide range of public policy areas including housing, the environment and taxation. His work on housing included contributions to NESC reports on social housing and the private rental sector. He holds a BA in economics from Trinity College, Dublin and an MA in economics from Georgetown University, Washington DC.
He was most recently involved in the researching and authoring of NESC Council Report no. 159, Private Rental in Ireland, published in February 2023.
